I've finally done it!

At long last a card with absolutely no Crumb Cake on it.  You see it can be done!!

I have used the beautiful Lucy Limeade and Island Indigo from the the 2011-2013 In Color collection and used the matching polka dot brads, and ruffled ribbon.  There's also a bit Chocolate chip card in there, and a rossette done using the Simply Scored board. The stamp set is one of the current hostess stamp sets, only available if you host a party with sales over £150 on the night.  These are great nights for you and you friends, where you all get to make a project, see some demonstrations of some of the current products, and browse the catalogue, and then best of all, as the hostess, you get the chance to earn free products if the total sales for the night come to oveer £150.

If you would like to book a workshop, why not drop me a line of give me a ring.

Almost managed it!!!

I tried really hard to do a project without using any of my favourite Crumb Cake in it, and I almost managed it, but then a tiny little bit crept in at the last minute!!! Can you spot it?  I will manage it one day, just not quite yet!!!

In this project I have used the beautiful framelits sizzix set from the summer mini catalogue, the co-ordinating stamp set Apothecary Art, and a scrapbooking kit from the main catalogue called Tickets and Tags.  The kit includes patterned paper, cardstock and embellishments.  The quality is fantastic.

Perhaps I will try again tomorrow to achieve a project without using crumb cake, but for now, goodnight all!

Told you so!

It's taken me a while to put the evidence on here I admit, but here are the photos to proove that there is cake with everything at the moment.  These were taken at my first ever class last week, and you can see that I have used the fantastic crumb cake card in the projects, and that there were real cakes there too!!

And here are some of the lovely projects that were made during the class (and some finished off at home!!)  I love that everybody puts their own ideas into the cards as well, and might be stealing some of their ideas for next time!!!  Thanks you ladies you were fab.

Cake with everything!!

I'm busy planning for my first ever card class tomorrow, but thought I would just share another card using the new Tea Shoppe stamp set from the summer mini catalogue (have I told you how fab it is!!)
I have realised I am addicted to cake! Crumb cake cardstock that is!! It doesn't matter how hard I try to use a different colour combo, I always seem to include some Crumb Cake!  Its fabby, can't get enough of it!!

I am also sorting out cakes for the card class tomorrow, so I'm not sure its just the cardstock type of cake I'm addicted to!!

Have fun.

Scrapbook Page

Its been a while since I've done a scrapbook page, I've been soo overwhelmed by all my new Stampin' Up! stuff, but here is one I've just done which uses the new Framelits from the Summer mini catalogue.  They are absolutely stunning and cut beautifully on the Big Shot.  With 6 different sizes to choose from, I can see me using them on lots of projects.  I can't wait to get the Apothecary Art stamp set that goes with them!!

This might also be coming up in a workshop that I will be running in September when we will be having a farewell party for the 2010-2012 In Colors.

I have to say, I'm really pleased with how the flower turned out!

Hope your still having fun with the Summer Mini.
